DROPS


Data mining-based optimization of production, its control and monitoring - DROPS, sub-project 'Exploring data mining for production optimization'; Cooperation with Next Vision GmbH, Paderborn / Hessisch Oldendorf and the Weserbergland University of Applied Sciences, funded by the BMWi, Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM).
The aim of this project was to prepare large amounts of data that arise in the manufacturing processes of small and medium-sized companies, as automatically as possible, in such a way that basically qualified personnel can process and evaluate them.
Digital Boardroom

Exploration and development of collaborative multitouch interactions in the digital boardroom, cooperation with Next Vision GmbH, Paderborn / Hessisch Oldendorf, co-funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
A concept and a demonstrator have been developed to interact collaboratively and simultaneously with visualized data in a digitized conference room, to annotate and discuss them, in order to ultimately build a common understanding of their development over time. In addition, application scenarios for gesture control and a solution architecture have been developed.
Agile PPS

ERP to go – agile production planning and control for Industry 4.0; an SAP®-based demonstrator for IT-integrated production of the future (in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Hartweg).
The aim of this project was a concept and a prototype implementation for context-based order processing. An assistance system guides various employees and enables them to use agile planning and control options. The collective intelligence of the system as well as the employees should be used here.
Workforce Management

Study and prototype on employee data mining, focus on time management, in cooperation with p.l.i. solutions GmbH, Gütersloh, co-funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
This project aimed at an early-warning system in the context of workforce management, e.g. to warn employees who have a high burn-out risk. Therefore, the secure administration and analysis of time management data was considered. In particular, data protection requirements and legal regulations have been taken into account.
Password Safe


Study and new products in the field of mobile password safe solutions, in cooperation with Freykamp IT Consulting GmbH, co-funded by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
As part of this project, a study of existing password safe solutions was carried out, particularly with regard to smart card based solutions. The study aimed at defining a novel password safe product.
