University Advancement Ostwestfalen Lippe

University Advancement Ostwestfalen Lippe (Hochschulgesellschaft Ostwestfalen Lippe e.V.) has set itself the task of promoting the development of the TH OWL and providing its students and their education in the established degree programs with conceptual and material support in the form of scholarships and prizes. At the same time, it pursues the goal of promoting exchange between the university, society, and industry.

University Advancement of Civil Engineering Detmold

The association “University Advancement of Civil Engineering Detmold" (Förderverein Bauingenieurwesen Detmold e.V.) was founded in 1993 and provides material and moral support to the civil engineering of TH OWL in terms of studies, teaching, research, and continuing education. The association also assists with networking and maintaining contacts with domestic and foreign universities and construction companies.

University Advancement of the Höxter location

Höxter Alumni and Support Association

The Höxter Alumni and Sponsors Association (Absolventen- und Förderervereinigung ‘AFV’ Höxter e.V. ), founded in 1924 at the TH OWL, is made up of current and former students from the Höxter campus. The association supports current students through membership fees and donations and also functions as an alumni network with regular meetings and excursions. The AFV also awards the annual Carl Möllinger Prize for outstanding scientific and technical theses.

Holzhanse Association

The Holzhanse Association (holzhanse e. V.) was founded in 2014 and is a network of alumni, students, friends, and supporters of the Wood Technology program at the TH OWL in Lemgo. As a non-profit association, holzhanse e. V. promotes education, teaching, and research in the field of wood technology. The exchange of technical experience and knowledge, as well as networking with others interested in wood technology, are at the heart of the association.
