Electrical Fundamentals, Advancements (GE, VT)

The modules GE 1 and GE 2 are offered in the 1st semester and the module VT / TVE is offered in the 2nd semester of the German bachelor degree programmes Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics.

This course unit considers the electrical fundamental knowledge. It utilizes the acquired mathematical knowledge for fundamental electrical methods. Starting with charge, current, and voltage in DC circuits, more and more challenging circuits and even fields are considered.
Students shall be able to apply methods and models for the analysis of electrical problems. This course unit serves as a bridge between mathematics and electronics. The latter eventually offers lab exercises, which the students love so well.
