Doctoral Studies Successfully Completed!
Lars Dürkop, research associate at inIT, has successfully finished his PhD at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Helmut-Schmidt-University, Hamburg.

Dr. Lars Dürkop (center) together with his doctoral supervisor Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Jasperneite (1st from left, second examiner) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Fay (3rd from left, first examiner).

Dürkop’s dissertation is about “Auto Configuration of Real Time-Ethernet”. In the working group of Professor Jürgen Jasperneite he developed a procedure for a reduction of manual engineering efforts of the configuration of Real Time-Ethernet Systems. In the future the reconfiguration of real time communication systems can be simplified because of Dürkop’s work.
inIT congratulates!
